Vulture Video Productions was formed as a creative outlet for a team of award-winning, hard-news, television journalists.   Chris Halsne is the lead investigative reporter for KIRO-TV, the CBS affiliate in Seattle, Washington. David Weed has worked for 20 years as a videographer/editor, much of that time alongside Halsne. The pair has won the National Edward R Murrow award for Investigative journalism, a pair of National Press Club awards, National Headliner awards, plus numerous local Emmys in the last five years alone.

Exposing criminal enterprises, corrupt politicians, and systems which fail to protect the elderly, poor, mentally ill, and animals has long been our calling, but, quite frankly, the dark subject matter wears on the psyche.

100 Miles to 40 is a film of hope and courage. There are many inspirational stories in this world. We felt it was time to utilize our talents to showcase a few of them.
